About
This blog is dedicated to class-related writing. As students write papers and turn them in to me based on our reading and discussions, I will write my own papers and responses here, raise questions for further consideration, or share relevant links that didn’t make it into class discussions or the syllabus.
To my students: I invite comments, replies, questions from you all. I get to respond to your writing, so feel free to respond to mine. Or not. This is not a required part of the course. You will not be graded on your responses or lack of responses here and you do not need to change your ideas to more closely match mine (in fact, I’d be really disappointed if you changed your views just to make them more like mine in an attempt to get a better grade–it doesn’t work like that). Just–if you’re interested, check it out. If you have something to say, say it.
To anyone else: Um, hi. I don’t know how you wound up here, but you are also welcome to join in the conversation if you find it interesting or have something to say.
